You’ve seen the bars, you’ve heard the noise, you’ve been to the parties. But who are the duo behind those big nights out?

Meet Ricardo Guimarães and Vineet Kalra - co-founders at KG Hospitality. See where they got the name?
How it all began
KGH was born in the middle of the pandemic, when Rick was asked to run the bars at Pop Brixton. He gave Vineet a call, and the partnership clicked instantly. From there, conversations with landlords quickly snowballed into running Hackney Bridge and Peckham Levels.
Then came the game-changer: in 2021, the team were approached to open a brand new bar in an 800-year-old church. Within 48 hours, they’d agreed to the commercials, signed the paperwork and in seven weeks, Amazing Grace opened its doors - complete with a brand new concept and a full fit-out delivered at breakneck speed.
If you’ve not been, Amazing Grace is one of the most unique venues in London Bridge, hosting live band karaoke nights, killer food and drinks ‘til late. And the KGH team have just announced a new Amazing Grace venue in the heart of Canary Wharf.
Why hospitality?
Between them, Rick and Vineet have over 40 years of experience in food, drink, and hospitality. But more than that, they share a real passion for creating spaces that aren’t just bars or restaurants, they’re multi-functional venues that give people an experience.
From food and drink to music and events, their aim has always been to reflect what today’s guests actually want from a night out.
What’s next?
For now, the focus is on their three existing venues - The Dial in Greenwich and two Amazing Grace venues in both Canary Wharf and London Bridge.
The next 6–10 months are about strengthening what they’ve already built. After that? The team will be on the hunt for the next Amazing Grace site, and some fresh new concepts that excite both them and their guests.
From transforming Pop Brixton into a buzzing food and culture hub, to the launch of Amazing Grace in both London Bridge and Canary Wharf, as well as The Dial - a unique tap room and sports bar concept with its own Meantime microbrewery opening in Greenwich Peninsula, KGH have been on a mission to shake up the hospitality scene.
