The Dial - Home of Meantime press night

How do you launch a brand new bar on Greenwich’s iconic peninsula? With celebs,

good drinks and a big party, of course.

Alongside our friends at Meantime Brewery, we’re so proud to finally launch The Dial -

Home of Meantime, with a press and VIP event worthy of celebrating good times.

Why throw press events to launch a new venue? Because we think it’s important to

generate as much buzz as possible before the general public walks through the door.

Plus, it means we get to liaise with some big names…

We invited Greenwich local Marvin Humes - known for his career singing for boyband

JLS - to DJ, as well as pub owner Jody Kidd and tv presenter Lisa Snowdon. These

stars mingled with everyone involved in the project, including The Opportunity Co. team

who supported with launching the venue, while highlighting The Dial’s high-profile

positioning amongst London’s hospitality scene.

Guests were treated to a sneak-peek, early look at the bar that sits just a stone’s throw

away from the iconic O2 Arena. With stunning views of the skyline and the chance to

taste beer straight from the source in the microbrewery, it’s an exciting time for

Greenwich Peninsula and we’re proud to finally be opening our doors.

Including Marvin Humes amongst the invited guests reiterates our intentions to focus on

the bar’s localit - he’s a proud, born and raised Greenwich local after all.

We also welcomed Meantime back to the

place where it all began - the place where

time was literally invented. To celebrate, we brought back a fan favourite beer - Yakima

Red, which will be served at the bar upon opening.

We’re so proud to be a part of the multi-million pound investment into the peninsula

area. We’re hoping that The Dial - Home of Meantime can be a local hub for the

upgrade to the area.
