Every proper pub partnership starts with one thing: knowing what makes a great glass of something special.

And, of course, pairing that glass with something tasty. But more on that later.

When Meantime Brewery made The Dial its new home, you just knew something special was… brewing. Pardon the obvious pun.

Following the success of February’s on-site brew, Back to Haze, the Meantime brewers are back with another special release - brewed right here at The Dial - Home of Meantime as part of our monthly on-site brewing programme.

So meet the new star of the show, available exclusively throughout March: Southbound Lager. (whilst stocks last…)

Brewed on site - from tank to tap - using our state-of-the-art microbrewery at The Dial, this limited release celebrates great beer made where it’s meant to be enjoyed.

Bright, zesty & tropical

This beer was brewed to celebrate Country to Country, Europe’s biggest country music festival, taking place on the Greenwich Peninsula from 13–15 March.

Southbound Lager takes its inspiration from the Southern Hemisphere, featuring hops sourced from south of the equator. The result is a dry-hopped lager that’s bright, zesty and bursting with tropical fruit character - bringing a little sunshine to London.

The name Southbound nods both to the journey of those hops and the spirit of country music itself.

This brew is another step in bringing one of London’s most iconic breweries back to where it all began - along the banks of the Greenwich Peninsula, where Meantime and modern brewing history share the same home as the place where time itself was created.

Since 1999, Meantime has helped shape the craft beer landscape. Today, that same spirit of innovation continues to flow through every brew.

Led by head brewer Sven Hartmann and our brand new 6HL brew kit, The Dial - Home of Meantime is more than a place to enjoy a pint; it’s a space to discover something new. From fresh takes on Meantime classics to small-batch experiments straight from the tanks, there’s always something being crafted, poured, and perfected.

From Pint to Plate: Beer-Infused Wings

And the innovation doesn’t stop there.

To mark the start of everyone’s favourite beer-drinking occasion, The Dial - Home of Meantime is bringing traditional brewing to your plate.

A limited-edition special: chicken wings infused with Meantime Midnight Stout - a bespoke beer brewed only for The Dial - Home of Meantime, only for the week of St. Patrick’s Day.

That means crispy wings, flavour-packed sauce and the kind of pairing that just makes sense alongside a cold, crisp pint in celebration of the Irish.

It’s a proper meeting of the bar and kitchen, and a reminder that great beer doesn’t have to stay in the glass.

This inspirational innovation goes to show that good collaborations aren’t about logos on a poster. They’re about shared standards.

Meantime has long been known for its precision brewing and technical know-how. At The Dial – Home of Meantime, that same mindset carries through from the brewhouse to the bar: attention to detail, properly kept beer, and a team that knows great hospitality lives in the small things done well.

It’s the same craft philosophy - just served a little closer to the glass.
