Amazing Grace’s debut in the heart of London’s financial district didn’t just open with a
bang, it arrived with a burst of burlesque flair and an iconic press night that confirms one
thing:

The city’s nightlife just got a new favourite venue.
Amazing Grace press night to celebrate the opening of a bold new building bursting with
good food, great drinks and a vibe never seen before on this side of the river.
Alongside our friends at The Opportunity Co., the press night concluded weeks of hard
work behind the scenes preparing the venue for launch.
Why a press night? Because when launching a brand new venue, first impressions
matter. It means we can raise the curtain on AG and shine a spotlight on what makes it
so special. The goal was to build excitement before the big reveal to the public, and we
did just that.
It also meant we could invite those who shape London’s food, drinks and culture
conversations to get a first-look, and the response spoke for itself.
A night worth talking about

We welcomed over 160 guests, including journalists, creators and tastemakers from the
city’s hospitality and lifestyle scene. They were treated to the second coming of
Amazing Grace - with the first venue residing in the heart of London Bridge - inside a
breathtaking building alongside the iconic concrete jungle that is Canary Wharf.
The result was a true standing ovation from the press and a launch night to remember
(or try to remember, anyway) - with live music, cocktails and unapologetically good
times.

The Coverage
Following the event, Amazing Grace Canary Wharf has featured in 24 pieces of
coverage, with a combined reach of over 22 million, with total editorial media value
exceeding £64,500. That's a whole lot of love considering the curtain has only just been opened…

Coverage spanned both trade and consumer titles, firmly positioning Amazing Grace as
one of London’s most exciting new openings and helping to put Canary Wharf back on
the nightlife map.
Alongside editorial features, social content from journalists and influencers reached over
1 million people, capturing the energy of the night and sharing it far beyond the venue
walls.

and Catering News, The Morning Advertiser, East London Advertiser, Square Meal:
The hype is real, and the wharf's buttoned-up corporate persona is already loosening its
tie, kicking off its shoes and hitting the dance floor. Docklands nightlife? Consider it
resurrected.

We’re so proud to be part of the Wharf’s evolving cultural scene and excited to see
Amazing Grace become a go-to destination for both locals and visitors alike.
Massive shoutout to all the publications who jumped on the story and spread the gospel
of good times.
